The motion tracker tells you where to go if you get lost. So always take a quick glance and put it away. It can hear gunfire, running/sprinting and the motion tracker if itвЂ™s in hearing range. Gunfire or any loud sounds draw her near you. Always keep moving towards the next goal. I would use them mainly for the alien when she shows up and to get past other enemies ( youвЂ™ll see what I mean in later chapters) You donвЂ™t get much time so keep moving. If you are having that difficult of a time you may need to start the chapter or the one before it that has the most crafted items. The game tells the alien the general area you are in but not the exact area. make sure to search every nook and cranny for crafting items. Crouching makes very little noise but you move slower. You gotta be super quiet when she is around. I played on easy and had a hard time towards the end. It's a fantastic game, do persevere and I wish you the best of luck. The one aspect of the AI that did become apparent is that taking chances and being bold did appear to slightly reduce the frequency of the appearences of the creature in my experience possibly this was a subtle 'reward' from the devs to prevent you from constantly hiding (which tbh is your natural inclination).Дuring the most 'difficult' missions where the creature caught me frequently and there were fewer save points I found that perseverance lead to a level of concentration that always enabled me to prevail and reach my goal even if I did end up totally exhausted! You have to put other game experiences out of your mind as the AI in Alien Isolation is so superb I found the way through it is to figure out what you would do if you were really there I didn't find myself able to exploit the game mechanics, spawn points are unpredictable and varied so getting caught by the creature didn't feel like a grind to me and the cleverness of the alien I found to be part of the fun.

The creature definitely makes fewer appearances on novice mode because I tackled the game on the recommended hard level when I first got it and then played through again on novice to give myself more time to have a good look round and appreciate the environment.ДЄs to struggling with the game it is an object lesson in patience, cunning and cognition of that there's no doubt. Is there a known glitch where changing the difficulty doesn't affect it's AI? This game is quickly becoming more frustrating than it is scary for me :/ Outlast 2, with all its BS stealth mechanics, gave me less trouble this this first real encounter with the alien. It's equally as far up my ass as it was on hard and I dont have the supplies, since i played on hard, to make any noise makers. If anything, it got even harder since the alien is checking every single locker I'm in now and even pulls me out when I lean back and hold my breath. I cruised through missions 1-4 on hard without any difficulty but mission 5 tore me a new one so i change the difficulty to novice since I read you get a bit more breathing space from the alien but I didn't notice a single change.

I'm a huge fan of horror games and alien in general so I downloaded this game but my experience has been pretty shitty.
